My hopes of new infected are these, and I've said these for a while: a dog that can leap and attack you, maybe starts biting at your neck and can be shoved off sort of like a hunter, but instead of pouncing runs away quickly and the leap has a cooldown similar to the jockey. Personally I found it a lot better than L4D, then when they introduced the old maps in L4D2, it was perfect. I liked the characters too, and I found the introduction of melee to be awesome as well as the other infected.
